Valuation services for Rating

Domestic Properties

The valuations for domestic properties are based on the capital value of your property based on 01 January 2005 prices.

In April 2007 changes took place to the domestic rating system in Northern Ireland. The information in this section tells you why these changes occurred and what they will mean to you if you are a ratepayer.

Non-Domestic Properties

Non-domestic properties are valued on a Net Annual Value basis.

Rates in respect of non-domestic properties eg businesses and offices will continue to be based on the rental value of your property.
